The Rose Garden Restaurant was the original business on this site. Perkins Pancake House opened about 1961 and was co-owned by Rita Browner and Gene Gray. Gene went on the become president of the Missouri Restaurant Association. Rita went on to work at Grant’s Cabin and the Breckenridge Ramada Inn. Mattress Garden is now located here.
