The five-story Crestwood Executive Building opened in 1967. It adjoined a strip of storefronts constructed in 1958. East Watson Road once split off to the right on the southwest side of the building, but is now separated from Watson Road by a divider. This was the alignment of Watson Road prior to the construction of Route 66/New Watson Road in 1933 but never carried Route 66.
