Crestwood Bowl was opened in 1958 by professional bowlers Dick Weber, Pat Patterson and Rich Volling. Weber and Patterson were members of the legendary St Louis Budweisers team that rolled a 3858 team series on March 12, 1958. The record stood for 38 years. Ray Bluth was also on the Budweisers, and he took over Crestwood Bowl in 1973. His son Mike still runs the lanes and the sign is being restored.
