Like many early Route 66 businesses, Buckingham's at 8945 Manchester (original 1926 Route 66) was once a residence, converted to a restaurant in the 1920's. It offered "Excellent food service in a homelike, bright and cheery atmosphere". The Westin Group Real Estate Group occupies the building today.
