Sunset Ranch Motel offered "blond oak furniture, soft water and electric heating", as well as a couple of playgrounds and a service station. The Park 'n Eat Restaurant was adjacent to the motel. The Sunset Ranch was part of a strip of hotels along South Highway Drive, a handful of which stood in rundown condition into the 1990's.
