Lake Hill Speedway was originally a 1.5 mile dirt track constructed in 1948. NASCAR drivers Kenny Schrader, Rusty Wallace, and Mike Wallace started their careers here. Kenny Wallace grew up watching races at Lake Hill. The last official races took place at the track in 1980.
