The Sunset Motel opened in 1945, and is noteworthy because there are two entrances to each of the 12 units, one opening to the lawn in front, and one in the back where the driveway is located. The beautiful sign still stands along today's Route AT, and a preservation grant from the National Park Service was recently awarded for restoration.
