Lindbergh Boulevard is renamed Kirkwood Road between Manchester and I-44. Kirkwood retains a small town atmosphere with landmarks such as Spencer's Grill, where the exterior is little changed since 1947. Trains still bring traffic to a halt and a neon sign directs motorists to a railroad overpass one block to the west.
